Spot and Clove
Barred Owls

Spot and Clove are Barred Owls, named for the

bars or stripes on their fronts. Both came in as

young birds with suspected head injuries. Both

struggled learning to fly and hunt. While Clove’s

siblings were successfully released, he and Spot

lack the instincts to survive in the wild and will live

out the rest of their days well cared for at Sardis.
